Jellyfish

Jellyfish are marine invertebrates belonging to the Scyphozoan class, and in turn the phylum Cnidaria. The body of an adult jellyfish is composed of a bell-shaped, jellylike substance enclosing its internal structure, from which the creature's tentacles suspend.
Our Jellyfish in Arab Gulf come in sunflower shapes and yellow colors and range in size from 10 cm to 40 cm in diameter. And it called yellow type sunflower.

Although Jellyfish often appear clear or pale bluish in color, they can also be yellow, bright orange.
Jellyfish are made up of a layer of epidermis, gastro dermis, and a thick jellylike layer called mesoglea that separates the epidermis from the gastro dermis. A Jellyfish Eats.

Jellyfish are eaten by humans. In some parts of the world, jellyfish are a delicacy. In China, people eat sliced and marinated jellyfish bells with seasame seeds, sesame oil, and with spring onions sometimes. The same dish is eaten in Vietnam sometimes, but with some hot pepper. Koreans also eat another version of this dish, but with a sweet and sour seasoning and mustard. In Korea, the dish is a summertime dish in the country.



Blue Swimming Crab

The Blue swimming crab is a fast moving crab. It has stalked red eyes and grows to about 8 cms. It has a fine velvetish texture. It is mostly found in the Arabic Gulf, Southeast Asia in the shallow waters of the stony and rocky shores. The swimming crab is caught in creels and the number varies from season to season. The Bahrain Sea has a lot of these swimming crabs. It also has a great commercial value. The Blue swimming crab is commercially very valuable. It is harvested throughout the year from the tropical waters of Southeast Asia and Arab Gulf.

Sometimes, the crab meat is pasteurized and sold in order to extend the shelf life. In Asia, the Flower crab is commonly eaten. It is a distinctive crab, reddish yellow and light brown in color.
